Join Escala Co-Founders Melissa Rojas (she/they) and Xavier Bravo (he/él) for a morning of bouldering at the Phil Baux Park in town! Melissa and Xavier will be leading an "Intro to Bouldering" clinic for those who are new to climbing or would like advice their technique and movement. This clinic is for panelists and workshop leads but the park and boulders are open to the public.We will meet at Center for the Arts and walk/carpool to the park together (8min walk). If you have your own climbing shoes or crashpads, feel free to bring them but they are not required. Escala creates accessibility, expands representation and increases visibility in climbing for Hispanic and Latine individuals by building community, sharing culture and mentoring one another.
